Why No Passport or National ID?

US state LLC registration is a commercial registration, not identity verification. States simply record the business name — they don't check personal identity documents.

Your ownership is proven by an Operating Agreement, which we prepare and deliver after formation. This is your legal proof of ownership — no government ID needed.

Examples: China requires a national ID, Germany requires a Personalausweis — but the US does not require either for LLC formation.

Registered Agent, Address, and Mail Handling

Address Use Guidelines

Secretary of State filings: our address is used for Registered Agent purposes.

Other business uses: use your own business or mailing address for banking, Amazon, insurance, and similar needs, or upgrade to Business Address + Mail Scanning.

Amazon and Google verifications: we do not accept those verification letters at the Registered Agent address.

Mail Handling Included

State and legal mail: unlimited viewing and forwarding on request while Registered Agent service is active.

Regular mail: up to 3 regular-mail scans per year, per state, are included in the Starter Pack.

Additional regular mail: $15 viewing fee per extra piece.

International forwarding: available when requested. Shipping fees apply.

State Compliance Autopilot

Why automatic renewal?

We automate state compliance work we support (e.g., Annual Reports and Registered Agent renewals) to help keep your LLC in good standing and reduce the risk of state dissolution.

What about taxes?

Autopilot covers state compliance only. Federal IRS tax filings (like Form 1120/5472) must be handled separately during tax season.

Cancellation: You may cancel future renewals anytime from your dashboard. Your paid coverage continues through the end date shown in your dashboard; after that date, monitoring and future filings stop unless you renew.
